Gliwickie Biuro Projektów Budownictwa Przemysłowego PROJPRZEM SA was founded in 1948 as a state-controlled enterprise in Gliwice. Its first director was M.Sc.Eng. Stanisław Hüpsch. In January 1996 the enterprise was transformed into a joint stock company; the assets of the company were taken on lease by its employees of the time. This structure has functioned in a virtually unchanged way until present day. In the same period Gliwickie Biuro Projektów Budownictwa Przemysłowego PROJPRZEM SA in Gliwice – already as a commercial law company – received its first important order – the design of construction concerning the production plant of General Motors - Opel in Gliwice. It was one of the largest foreign investments in Poland in those days.

At the beginning of 2007 a subsidiary company was founded: PROJPRZEM-UKRAINA Limited Liability Company with its registered office in Kiev. The company has adequate authorization to carry out design works on the area of the entire Ukraine.

During sixty years of our activity we created several dozen thousand of substantial designs for various segments of the industrial market, as automotive industry, cement industry, power industry, refining industry, chemical industry, food industry, as well as for public building and housebuilding industry, among others. We have experience in comprehensive project servicing in the scope of designing, consulting, expert’s opinions and technical analyses, building control and general contractor’s activities.

At present we employ more than 100 experienced, highly qualified employees – building engineers in the field of architecture and structure, installations, electric systems, roads and heat distribution and process. We cooperate with scientific centers, like the Silesian Technical University in Gliwice, among others, as well as with experts in various disciplines from all over Poland. We give weight to the continuous improvement of our employees by means of the developed system of professional and language trainings. Our personnel is supported by modern management methods. Our technical base is composed of more than 100 highly efficient computer engineering stations, combined with servers via the LAN network. We have also our own reprography department that allows for comprehensive preparation of documentation (scanners, large format plotters).

Thanks to such huge potential we are able to adapt to the Customer’s individual requirements and to ensure high quality of our services. What testifies to efficiency of reliability of our company are our rich achievements in form of projects implemented in Poland and in several countries of the World.
