The Design Studio of Industrial Building in Gliwice PROJPRZEM Joint Stock Company was founded in 1948 as a state-controlled enterprise in Gliwice. Its first director was M. Eng. Stanisław Hüpsch. In January 1996 the enterprise was transformed into a joint stock company; the assets of the company were taken on lease by its employees of the time. This structure has functioned in a virtually unchanged way until present. In the same period the Design Studio of Industrial Building in Gliwice – already as a commercial law company – received its first important order – the design of construction of the production plant General Motors - Opel in Gliwice. In those days it was one of the largest foreign investments in Poland.
